Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the local organizing committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the "19th International Symposium on Signal Transduction at the Blood-Brain Barriers".

The event will take place in the Danish capital Copenhagen, a city known for a rich history and a pleasant atmosphere. Copenhagen is known as one of the safest and most friendly cities in the world, and offers a wide variety of cultural experiences, amazing architecture and excellent dining within the fairly small city center. The city is easily reach from Copenhagen Airport, one of Scandinavia’s main traffic hubs, with direct flights from ~140 destinations all over the world.

We wish to create an environment for lively discussions and exchange of knowledge, as well as to give you opportunities to meet colleagues within the field. The program will combine both state of the art lectures and new research. During the congress, we also hope that you will enjoy the mood and vibe in our city.

We really look forward to see you in Copenhagen in the autumn of 2016.

Birger Brodin
Ph.D., Assoc. Prof., MSK.
